Michelle has been employed for 25+ years as a Master Social Worker in various medical and senior living settings including hospitals, nursing home/acute rehabs, home care companies, dialysis, mental health and substance abuse crisis stabilization facilities in addition to working in independent, assisted living and memory care communities.
She earned her BS in Psychology(Georgia State,1995) followed by a Masters in Social Work( University of Georgia,1997). She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). She has had numerous hours of specialized Dementia training and many years of experience in assisting families with the challenges they face in the aging process. She is an expert in senior placement options in the Atlanta area, and has been helping families in the Atlanta area over 10 years.
Michelle has been fortunate enough to have additional opportunities to serve others throughout her adult life. She served as a missionary/volunteer Social Worker for over two years in Northeast Brazil at an orphanage for children of the street through the financial and prayerful support of her local church, along with her husband and twin daughters. Together they built and supported an additional location for the orphanage and put systems in place to improve quality of life for the children and staff.
She is a passionate advocate who enjoys engaging with people, sharing joy, and ‘holding hands’ as they weigh senior related options. She is an active member of Concord Baptist Church (Mount Yonah campus) and her family continues to serve in Northeast Brazil annually on short term mission trips.
Brielle is a Senior Resource Specialist and has been helping families in North Georgia area for over a year. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). She also is a notary public and was a Registered Pharmacy Technician for 3 years. She has 8 years of experience in the customer service industry and has 4 years of managerial experience.
She also works as Office Manager running daily operations. She has 5+ years of experience with different types of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite. Brielle has almost completed 2 years of coursework at University of North Georgia.
Brielle has been fortunate enough to have opportunities to serve others throughout the world. She has gone on mission trips in Brazil, Mexico and Haiti. She also volunteers at her local church, Browns Bridge, in the children’s ministry.
We enjoyed a night of "Music and Memories", a benefit supporting a senior serving nonprofit.
